What is a followspot sight?
A followspot sight is an aiming aid that helps followspot operators accurately position the beam on performers and stage areas during live events and theatre productions.
Will this fit my followspot?
The sight is designed to be mounted to most followspot fixtures using the supplied base plate and adhesive pads. Alternative fixing methods such as Velcro or BlackTak foil tape can also be used.
How long do the batteries last?
The included Duracell Procell AA batteries typically provide 1 to 2 years of operation under normal use.
Can the sight be removed after installation?
Yes. The sight detaches from the mounting base, allowing the base plate to remain fixed to the followspot for quick reinstallation, or as an alternative to the sticky pads you can use velcro tape to attach the base plate for easy removal and repositioning.
